　　The stranger felt surprised when seeing tears went up in the eyes of the middle-aged man in front of him. “Would you please go to next door and tell the same story to the man in the store?” Gary asked. Then something surprised the stranger even more after he told his story again, the two middle-aged men shook hands with each other and cried together in the front of the wall of the store.

　　When Sarah’s mother rushed into the hospital she was surprised by what she saw: her girl was lying in bed with an arm and a leg in the splint (夹板), a broken nose, and blood on her second-best clothes. Expecting to see her child cry, she was surprised when she saw a big, bright smile on Sarah’s face.

　　"Sarah, look at you!" her mother cried. "You were hurt so badly and why are you smiling?"

　　"Look, Mommy, I found a diamond!" Sarah laughed.
